It Takes Action To Create Your Health & Dream Body

August 22, 2014 by Dave Fresilli

Fotolia_55286906_Subscription_XXLAction will certainly be required to achieve any goal you have created for yourself in your health and fitness.

Taking action is something we want to get excited about. It is through taking action that we can achieve the health and dream body we have always desired.

Taking action is something many people get stuck on. They can dream big and get excited about creating their dream, but they fall short when it comes to taking the actions that are needed to create the big dream.

Action is the physical expression of creating your big dream. However you have to be inspired to take the actions that are coming to you.

Your big dream once planted in your subconscious may intuitively telling you to make a phone call, research something on the internet, or make an appointment with someone who can help you achieve your big dream.

What is important to understand is that your big dream is giving you the inspiration, motivation, and ideas you should be taking in the form of actions.

In the beginning consistently taking action may seem challenging.

Even though you may feel uncomfortable following these inspired thoughts and ideas actions ares needed for you to achieve your health and dream body.

Your new health and dream body are going to ask you to get up and do your exercises, eat better, and don’t skip meal. In fact it will remind you to bring your healthy food with you to work. Your dream will hint to you to get out and walk during lunch, take the stairs, and hit the gym after work. Your dream body and health will encourage you to make a health dinner and get to bed earlier so your body can sleep for eight hours and heal itself.

Your dream body and health will trigger you to join a gym or get a trainer, maybe start running or join a team sport.

These and countless more actions will come into your mind each and every moment of everyday when you focus on living and feeling your dream. This is supposed to happen. It is the way we are designed to create.

The more consistently you take action the more habitual it will become. This is a fantastic habit to create.

People who take effective actions each day are highly productive in creating their health and fitness dreams.

You are meant to be healthy and fit. You are meant to dream of what you want in life and then take action to create it.

Taking action is part of the lifestyle you will create along with your big dream of health and fitness.

Your positive actions toward creating your health and fitness dream comes after getting emotionally involved in visualizing and feeling your dream as already real.

How exciting will it be to live a life where you know that all you have to do is create the big dream, get emotionally involved in feeling it, and then take the consistent actions to make it happen.

Action carries with it power. You have within you unlimited access to the power to create. The more consistently you take action toward your dream the more power you will access.

I would love to help you on your journey of health and wellness.

I wish for all of you Vibrant Health!

Shortcuts Only Give Short Results

June 27, 2014 by Dave Fresilli

dave_061--1It would be a fantastic life if all the shortcuts we heard about actually worked. In reality very few ever give the results they promote, and so it goes with the health and wellness industry.

Yes, sadly, the health & fitness industry has a tendency to take advantage of quick fixes. Take this pill, follow this diet, do this workout, and all will be well, you won’t even have to break a sweat.

I’m sorry folks, but the body doesn’t work that way, not when it comes to lasting, long- term health. The body is designed to heal itself when given the basics of health and wellness, and there is no cheating it.

The way to health and wellness may not be wrapped up in some high intensity, glamorous, infomercial with hot bodies showing their results, but it works, it works every time, and it is the way our body’s are designed.

Tried and true, the body responds well with proper nutrition, quality sleep, hydration, quality breathing, exercise, and a proper mindset.

A majority of health issues can be resolved when the body is given the time and basic inputs to heal itself. This can’t be done with pills or quick fixes.

Most people turn to quick fixes out of confusion and despair. They feel they have nowhere else to turn. They feel they’ve tried everything. They are filled with frustration and doubt. When they hear of products or services that will give the results they desire, they fall prey to the quick fix.

Some of these shortcuts, or quick fixes are fat burners, thermogenetics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, diuretics, antacids, anti-histamines, and cholesterol lowering drugs, high blood pressure meds,  antidepressants, and the list goes on.

Please understand I believe there is a time and place for the ethical use of some of these drugs under the supervision of a doctor. However, most are over used because we would rather not have to take a long-term approach to healing our bodies. In most cases, many of us feel it is easier to take a pill than put in the effort to clean up our eating, drink more water, start an exercise program, get quality sleep, breathe deep, and condition our minds.

We live in a world that expects instant gratification. We feel we shouldn’t have to work for, or put forth any energy, or time for the results we desire as long as we can pay someone else to do it for us.

Health and wellness comes as a result of a lifestyle, a lifestyle that follows the components of health and wellness. There are no shortcuts.

Short cuts have a way of catching up to us. They never solve the issue, they just put it off.

Don’t fall prey to short cuts. Live a life of health and wellness. If you don’t know what that means then reach out and ask. Take the time to know. I am here to help you on this journey,

I wish for you Vibrant Health!

The Best Way Is The Integrated Way

June 13, 2014 by Dave Fresilli

Fotolia_38572203_Subscription_Monthly_M-1What does it take to achieve the health and fitness you desire? Does it take proper nutrition? How about exercising? Should we be looking at our lifestyle factors? Finally do we need to consider our overall belief system?

In a word Yes!

As a holistic health practitioner all of the above are taken into consideration when working with a client to improve their health and fitness.

Many folks make the common mistake of thinking that eating better or exercising is the fastest or only way to getting healthy and fit. However there is so much more to our health and fitness than this.

First off it is important to realize that just because someone is fit doesn’t mean they are healthy. There are plenty of fit people out there with chronic health issues.

As I have mentioned before, health and fitness is a lifestyle. For health and fitness to be a lifestyle it means integrating all factors for creating a healthy spirit, mind, and body into your daily life.

An integrated approach will create a deeper connection with your spirit, a true awareness to condition your mind and create the life you desire, and conditioning your body to radiate vibrant energy and wellness.

Is it hard to integrate these steps into your life? No actually it is not. It really comes down to you choosing to create this new life of health and wellness.

Now, it will be different from the way you have been conducting your life, but well worth the effort. We are meant to be healthy. Our bodies are designed to be healthy!

They have the innate ability to heal. We just have to get out of our own way and stop sabotaging the body’s efforts.

So I have a question for you. Is what you are doing working for you? Are you creating the health and fitness you have always desired? Do you have vibrant energy? Do you have the body you desire?

The most challenging situation to be in is feeling stuck and not knowing what to do or where to turn for help.

Creating health and fitness does not have to be hard. I know they certainly seem to make it look hard when you see thousands of diet and exercise books all claiming to be the best.

Once you know the 6 foundational principles to health and wellness all the rest falls into place.

I have spoken of them many times and will continue to do so. They are your Thoughts, Breath, Hydration, Nutrition, Exercise, and Sleep.

Each one is a key component to giving the body what it needs to heal and grow.

I have videos on Facebook and our website that will give you plenty of details on each,

If you really want to learn fast, I have just started an online course this week that you can still get into. You can do it at your own pace, and I am here to answer all of your questions via Skype or email.

Risking Your Health and Wellness

May 9, 2014 by Dave Fresilli

fotolia_293572_Subscription_L

The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it. – Michelangelo

This quote by Michelangelo gets right to the root of why most folks never accomplish what they dream of creating in their health and wellness and their life.

We are afraid to risk, and so our aim in life is to just get by. We allow our fear of taking risk to stop us from trying to make a better life.

When we think of risk it is usually in the form of taking some action and the possibilities of not succeeding.

For you to achieve your desires you must take risk. Risk allows for growth. For growth to happen there will always be resistance in the process.

A person who never risks and plays it safe is actually holding themselves back from being more, having more, and experiencing more.

Think of starting a business, or buying a house or investing money, or starting / ending a relationship or starting a health and fitness program to get healthy. Each comes with the risk of not succeeding and the possibility of ending up right back where you started.

When we think deeply on the subject of risk we can take each one of those negative possibilities of loss and ask what is at risk if we do not take the actions to be successful in those endeavors. What are we risking then?

That is in my opinion is the way to look at a situation. It is the possibilities of what you will never create if you do not risk.

There are two sides to every coin. In fact my mentor Paul Chek says there are three sides, the positive, the negative and the edge of the coin, which states the potential to create the positive.

You should never be afraid of risk. Risk doesn’t mean to haphazardly jump into something, but instead using a calculated thought out process. You should get excited in knowing that if there is risk there is also gain. We should always and only focus on the gain.

In my view there is little to no risk in beginning a health and wellness lifestyle. When done sensibly you can only improve your state of health and wellness. The real risk comes if you don’t give yourself the gift of health and wellness. By doing nothing you will progressively move towards dysfunction illness and disease.

When thinking about creating health and wellness we should also apply these questions.

  • What are you risking by not taking care of your health and wellness?
  • What are you risking by creating a healthy lifestyle.

You’ll see by your answers that the risks of not taking care of your health and wellness is far greater than risks of creating a healthy lifestyle.

I would love to help you create happiness, health and wellness in your life.

I wish for you a vibrant life!  David E. Fresilli
